Vibe Coding for Grades
My daughter turned in a playable game for a school assignment, complete with voice acting, music, and three chapters. What a sixth-grader can ship now is not what it was when I was twelve.
My daughter turned in a game for a school assignment. She designed the story, drew the character art, recorded the voiceovers, and vibe-coded it into something you can play in the browser. It's called Standardized Testing Hero.
When I was twelve, the ceiling on "what a kid could make" was notebook doodles and maybe a Word document that barely printed (I was personally enthralled with my 286 at the time). A playable game with music, voice acting, and multiple chapters was a professional's job, handled by a team. That ceiling moved, and newer generations are growing up with such incredible opportunities.
